Job Description

Compensation: $32-$40/hour commensurate with experience + overtime, a healthcare stipend, paid sick days, vacation days, and holidays.

Schedule: Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 4/5:00 pm

Household

• A wonderful family is seeking a full-time nanny for their adorable 3-month-old baby.
• Mom works outside the home and dad works from home. They are an active and energetic family with regular schedules who enjoy spending time outdoors, visiting museums, and going to baby-friendly parks.
• The family has a casual and welcoming home, and they live within walking distance of classes, the community center, and a park.

Candidate

• The ideal candidate is engaging, playful, caring, and who is excited to care for infants.
• Someone with a high level of knowledge and experience with infants would be perfect for this family.
• Someone attentive and experienced with infant milestones and incorporating developmentally appropriate activities is needed.
• The family follows a schedule but with some flexibility and following the baby’s cues.
• Collaboration and the ability to partner with the parents on ideas and activities would be welcomed and appreciated.

Duties

• Duties include everything related to the baby such as bottle preparation and feeding, laundry, dishes, keeping inventory of baby's items, and light tidying up/organizing related to the baby.
• As baby gets older, assistance with introducing solids and meal/snack preparation will be needed.
• Going on walks, active playtime, and attending classes and activities as baby gets older.

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of paid, professional childcare experience that occurred over the age of 18 (not for friends or family) with excellent references
• Recent experience working with infants
• Valid driver’s license, personal vehicle, and a strong driving record
• Covid vaccinated and current on booster; current TDAP
• Legal work authorization in the U.S.
• English fluency
