Responsibilities:
Server Automation Engineer
The Role:
AMD’s Server Automation team is looking for a highly talented full-stack developer with strong technical skills to help us design and develop our next-generation test automation systems. This is an exciting opportunity to work with various teams to build a common automation framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development and enhancements of a common automation framework for AMD SPSE team.
- Design and develop APIs for integration using either Java or Python language.
- Deploy the application in containerized server infrastructure.
- Design and Development of web applications and web services.
- Creating test plans from requirements.
- Maintain and create unit & integration tests for various applications.
Preferred Credentials:
- Good knowledge of a high-level programming language like Python or Java.
- Experience with web service technology like REST, XML, and JSON.
- Experience with continuous integration frameworks, preferably Jenkins.
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis abilities.
- Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
- Strong knowledge of integration architectures, best practices, tools, techniques, and platforms.
- Understanding of the software development process, build & test systems, and automation tools are required.
- Familiarity with container technology such as docker is preferred.
- Strong Analytical capability and problem-solving skills with attention to the detail.
- A willingness to take ownership of projects and drive them to completion.
EDUCATION:
- BS + 5-7 years or MS + 3-5 years of direct experience

At AMD, your base pay is one part of your total rewards package. Your base pay will depend on where your skills, qualifications, experience, and location fit into the hiring range for the position.
