Requirements:

Day to day responsibilities consist of using multiple systems simultaneously to assemble and coordinate reimbursement claims for our clients. The medical billing specialist will interact with insurance companies to ensure accurate, streamlined billing and payments are made to the client.

You will be required to use online portals for insurances and working within the client's billing system.

Requirements:

  • Work full time, 40 hours weekly. This is not a part-time position.
  • Must have a Windows-based personal computer (NO Chromebooks) capable of running multiple systems and software programs, high speed internet (speed test is required), and use of phone.
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years Authorization experience in Quadax & Optum
  • Experience preferred in one or all systems
  • Attention to detail and accuracy is vital to being successful in this position
  • Excellent, professional verbal, written, and social communication is a must
  • Previous experience working with an electronic medical system required
  • Attendance and participation in online team meetings are required as well as company Q&A forums
  • Employees must meet daily quality and productivity quotas. These will be checked weekly as well as your contribution and overall impact on the project.
  • Maintaining accurate time tracking and reporting
  • Telcor, Medisoft, Epic, E-clinicals experience is HIGHLY PREFERRED, Availity experience is a plus but will train.
  • Must know how to read an EOB and research denials & appeals
  • Must be available between the hours of 8am-6pm EST with flexibility (to be discussed in interview)
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Ability to navigate personal and remote desktop simultaneous
  • Attention to detail and accuracy is vital to being successful in this position
  • Multiple positions with several clients starting pay of $16 per hour with a 90-day probationary period.
  • Must be able to complete mandatory on-boarding training. Training will be completed online via training videos and live meetings.

A full 40 work week must be completed. Pay is non negotiable.

Position starts IMMEDIATELY.

This is a contract position paid on a 1099. Work term is based on client contract term.
