As a Concierge in a Grace Management Services facility you must be able to perform the following essential functions
as demonstrated by the ability to:
Essential Job Functions:
Assist with the admission and discharge process for assigned residents.
Ensure you have appropriate information as outlined in the Concierge Procedure to anticipate admission.
Effectively communicate with nursing staff and other departments that need to know about the admission.
Arrive at main entrance with wheelchair prior to the admission’s arrival.
Meet and greet new admission and/or family members and escort them to the designated room.
Assist with the unpacking of belongings and setting up room accordingly.
Check belongings for appropriate labeling with resident’s name.
Provide resident and/or family member information on laundry services.
Orient resident and/or family to room, bathroom, call light, storage of personal belongings, hospitality binder and use of TV.
Introduce resident to roommate, if applicable.
Make sure first set of vitals are taken (or take them, if qualified), get ice water, and ask resident and/or family if they
have any questions or concerns.
Provide the resident and/or family members with Administrator, DON and ADON business cards.
Ensure all needs have been met before leaving the room to return to assigned unit.
Report vitals and other medical information to charge nurse, if applicable.
Report to assigned room at the anticipated discharge time/time of transportation.
Assist the resident and family with neatly packing residents belongings.
Obtain a wheelchair to safely escort the resident to the car.
Assist resident and family with belongings to the car.

Provide excellent customer service to all residents and family members.
Act in a professional and courteous manner at all times
Follow all guidelines as outlined in the Grace Management Services Concierge Procedure.
Ensure all state and federal guidelines are met.
Perform other related duties as directed by the Administrator.

position to position. This requirement occurs to a considerable degree and requires the substantial use of the upper
extremities and back muscles.
Must be able to balance, climb, crouch, grasp, kneel, pull, push, reach, stand and stoop adequately to perform the
essential functions of the job.
Must be able to hear, smell, feel and speak adequately to perform the essential functions of the job.
