The Assistant Manager, under the supervision of the General Manager, is responsible for posting rent payments, processing invoices for payment, assisting in training and supporting the operation of the management office.
Job Duties:
· Assist the General Manager in supervising and directing property personnel in the management office in the preparation of reports, maintaining resident records and implementing work schedules.
· Confirm accuracy of records for resident move-in, move-out and renewal lease records. Monitor unit availability, pricing and specials for new and renewal leases.
· Prepare renewal lease reports, offers and tracking responses.
· Collect, deposit and record income, including the pursuit of delinquent rent.
· Assist in the processing of invoices for payment.
· Treat residents with respect, efficiency and courtesy.
· Assist in leasing and marketing efforts.
· Reviewing all online marketing content regularly.
· Enforce company policies and procedures.
· Assume the responsibilities of the General Manager when directed to do so.
Requirements for Assistant Manager:
· Full-time position
· Some weekend work required
· Must have at least 3 years previous apartment leasing experience and 1 year of Assistant Manager experience
· Excel, Word and computer skills required
· Yardi software knowledge preferred
· BA, BS or Associate’s Degree preferred
· Must possess a valid and current driver’s license
