How You Can Make an Impact:
Working within McKesson's Real Estate (MRE) organization, the Project Administrator is responsible for supporting the Project Manager and managing processes, paperwork, and project monitoring throughout the lifecycle of a project. The administrator/coordinator will perform a wide variety of tasks daily, sometimes even simultaneously for multiple projects and project managers. A strong candidate will be:
- Adept at maintaining active checklists, keeping information organized and monitoring the life cycle through budget, schedule, RAG status, and other reporting.
- Experienced in properly monitoring contract and procurement compliance, processing purchase requisitions, invoices, and other necessary paperwork.
- A strong liaison between stakeholders, contractors, suppliers, project managers and other disciplines during the life of the project.
- Knowledgeable on the real estate project lifecycle and the construction industry and bring relevant computer competencies, networking, multitasking, teamwork, and attention to detail.
- Highly flexible and adaptable to pick up additional tasks including (but not limited to): process improvement, financial tracking, information processing, project system inputs and tracking, and misc. documentation, communications (verbal & written) and template management.
How You’ll Spend Your Day:
- Project Management Team Support. Onboards and manages vendor relationships and serves as the point of contact for matters concerning invoicing and project administration. Supports project managers and executives by overseeing all administrative tasks including documentation, project planning, budgeting, scheduling, SOW statements, tracking logs, and serves as the point of contact and communicates project status to all participants as necessary
- Data Integrity, Risk Management and Reporting. Ensures project data integrity and documentation is accurate, timely and coordinated. Provides reports for all project related activities, including RAG status, forecasting (project savings and overages), and resource utilization. Ensures compliance with schedules and tracking completion risk
- Reporting & Collaboration. Communicates and presents information to stakeholders about all financial, schedule, and contract-related matters. Coordinates and collaborates with our service partners (e.g., Technology, Security, Corp Comms).
- Stakeholder Meeting and Support. Schedules stakeholder meetings and facilitates communication between Project Managers and stakeholders throughout the project life cycle.
- Change Management. Understands all associated paperwork including change orders. Manages cradle to grave all vendor invoices and application for payments, inclusive of issues resolutions and tracking to payment, including allowance collection. Generates cash flow analysis and payment schedules for contracts in accordance with contract management guidelines for review by senior members of the department.

What You’ll Need
- Typically requires 2+ years of project management experience in the furniture or construction industry within a large complex multi-site organization
- 4-year degree (BA/BS/BEng/BArch) or equivalent
What Will Help You Excel?
- Ability to generally read and understand tenant work-letters, vendor contracts, leases
- Knowledge of the construction industry and related practices
- Understand the real estate project lifecycle and typical processes and reporting
- Proficient with project management software (e.g., Excel, MS Project, IWMS, etc.)
- Must be highly organized and self-motivated
- Project management related experience through furniture or construction industry
- Space design, Auditing, Bookkeeping and finance experience

Our Base Pay Range for this position
$55,100 - $91,800
