To drive the AXA Group's strategic ambitions in Direct Cyber Insurance, AXA will launch a Group Cyber Center of Expertise, led by AXA XL. This Office will be accountable for delivering coverage and contracts, best-in-class cyber modelling including pricing models, risk aggregation models, and predictive analytics to support submission triage and scalable underwriting.

This role will help deliver the improvements in pricing and analytics under this strategy. This role will work with the Head of Pricing – Global Cyber for AXA and Global Chief Cyber Underwriting Officer for Commercial Lines for AXA to enhance technical pricing, align pricing/UW strategies, and deliver advancements in analytics. This role will assist in the evaluation of pricing frameworks for cyber across all AXA entities and will help monitor and identify profitability actions to take across the portfolio.

What will your essential responsibilities include?

  • Help ensure AXA is a leader in the understanding and pricing of cyber risk for both established and growing segments of the market
    • Build, support, and enhance cyber pricing tools for all AXA entities
    • Explore new data sources, trends, and advancements in analytics to continually improve cyber pricing accuracy
  • Work with the Head of Pricing – Global Cyber for AXA and Global Chief Cyber Underwriting Officer for Commercial Lines for AXA to effectively manage the full cyber portfolio
    • Support AXA Cyber leaders in driving insights into the global portfolios and assist in efficient and effective reinsurance structures to manage our net position
    • Build and improve MI to analyze profitability and ensure proper portfolio management, identifying opportunities for improved performance and/or opportunities for growth with entity practice leaders
  • Work effectively with stakeholders across various functions and countries within AXA to improve consistent data capture and profitability for cyber risks

This role will report into Head of Pricing – Global Cyber for AXA.

We’re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:

  • Pricing or reserving experience in cyber insurance along with outstanding analytical capabilities
  • FCAS, FIA, or equivalent is desirable
  • Moderate property and casualty experience, preferably in pricing
  • Coding skills in VBA, SQL, R and/or Python
  • Experience pricing new and emerging risks
  • Outstanding interpersonal, presentation, written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in French, Spanish, or German is considered an advantage
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills
  • Effective collaborative skills
  • The ability to demonstrate critical thinking, decision making, and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to travel globally a minimum of 10% of the time

The pay range for this position is $ 118,500 - $177,500. Actual pay will be determined based upon the individual’s skills, experience and location. We strive for market alignment and internal equity with our colleagues’ pay.
