The Accounting Operations Supervisor works closely with an engaged, supportive and dynamic team of supervisors and staff to plan, organize, and direct a wide range of fiscal accounting activities. The supervisor guides the work being performed using in-depth knowledge of the California Lottery Act and related Lottery regulations, policies, and procedures; government codes; and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. The Accounting Operations team desires a creative and professional supervisor who promotes integrity and keeps the team connected to why we are here - to provide supplemental funding for education! This is a remote-centered position with some operational need to come in 1-2 days a week to review and approve staff work, monitor facility-related issues within the immediate workplace of direct staff, employee safety, and adherence to Lottery policies. The position can serve as back-up to the other Accounting supervisors in the event of an office coverage operational need. There are employees within the span of control on-site at Sacramento HQ office every day for various tasks and customer service business needs.
