Job Description

JOB TITLE: Accounting Clerk

SUMMARY: Provide support to the accounts payable department and performs accounts
payable functions.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Processes invoices for payment
  • Process accounts payable checks
  • Maintain accounts payable files and records
  • Respond to vendor and inquiries regarding invoices, expenses, and check requests
  • Monthly closings, journal entries, and bank statement reconciliation
  • Assists with related special projects as needed
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Acute attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to calculate figures and amounts
  • Willingness to work within constantly changing priorities
  • Working knowledge and experience with EPICOR a plus
