As part of the Finished Lubricants, Customer Service organization, the Account Specialist is responsible for direct customer interface in the order-to-cash process, including product supply and delivery, order entry, projects, customer issues, product quality, and invoicing. This person must have a strong ability to network with internal customers within P66 Lubricants’ value chain, as well as with external customers. This person will work independently to resolve order and invoice issues and have strong prioritization skills to balance daily responsibilities. This position requires cultural sensitivity, and a keen ability to consider the audience and adjust communication style to nurture and strengthen business relationships with internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

Entering orders and corresponding with customers to process order changes

Ensuring orders are placed accurately, delivery is error-free, billing is prompt and accurate, and customer needs are met

Manage product shipments and follow through to ensure they arrive at customer’s location on time

Engage with Sales and Logistics to find alternative means of supply for customer orders in the event of a product shortage or stockout

Be the resolution focal point for conversations with customers regarding order issues and complaints

Develop close partnership with Sales Representatives to independently manage customer queries within the scope of Customer Service

Manage communications with internal partners to resolve value chain issues, including P66 plants, Product Management, Sales, Logistics, Transportation, and Finance

Develop the ability to back-up other Customer Service roles for vacation relief or workload surges

Coordinate with freight forwarder and/or plant concerning any container load date or vessel sailing date issues

Required Qualifications

Legally authorized to work in the United States on a regular, full-time basis without restrictions

1 or more years of customer facing experience

Proficient with Microsoft Office and SAP

Ability to conduct business in English and Spanish, verbal and written

Communication skills: Advanced level, verbal and written

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree

Knowledgeable of Truck, Rail, and Waterborne modes of transportation and INCO terms

Freight Forwarder Experience

Export experience in the lubricants or petrochemical industries, preferably in Central America, Asia, Europe & Mexico

Experience managing multiple priorities/issues simultaneously while driving results and delivering real business improvements
